In Samsung Email, go to Settings → Add Account → Other. Enter your email address and mailbox password, then tap Manual setup.
Select POP3 account on the account type screen. For synchronising mail across multiple devices, IMAP may be preferable.
Set the POP3 server to mail.yourdomain.com, port to 995 and security type to SSL. Your username is your full email address; use your mailbox password.
Set the SMTP server to mail.yourdomain.com, port to 465 and security type to SSL. Enable authentication for sending email, enter your email address and password, then tap Sign in. Test sending and receiving.
POP3 copy setting: In incoming server settings, set Delete from server to Never.
Send a message from your address to another email account. Reply from that account and confirm the reply arrives on this device. This page is a setup guide; it does not connect to your account or ask for your password.
If you use the same mailbox on a computer and phone, IMAP is usually more suitable. Folders and read status are synchronised. POP3 downloads messages to the device and does not provide the same synchronisation. Back up local emails before changing account type.
Use mail.yourdomain.com as the outgoing server, SMTP port 465 and SSL/TLS. Enable SMTP authentication. Enter the outgoing server username and password even if marked “Optional”; the username is your full email address.
Enter the username as “yourname@yourdomain.com”, not just “yourname”. Use the email account password, not your hosting panel password. Check for leading or trailing spaces when copying.
The server name must match the certificate. Check the domain instead of disabling SSL; if needed, ask IQ Medya for the correct SSL server name for your account. Replace mail.yourdomain.com in this guide with your own domain.
Check whether messages are deleted from the server after retrieval. Enable “Leave a copy on the server” or select “Delete from server: Never”. IMAP synchronisation is more suitable for multiple devices.
POP3 support depends on the app. This guide uses Samsung Email, which supports IMAP and POP3. Gmail does not add POP accounts; use IMAP or choose an app that supports POP3.
These setup illustrations were created for IQ Medya using example domains; they are not actual device screenshots. Menu paths are based on manufacturer documentation. Ports follow IQ Medya’s SSL/TLS settings.
